This was the first flyer I have made, and I did it on Procreate, which I don't use as much anymore as I find Canva to be better. The flyer was designed to be clear and bold, with easy methods to get in touch, hence the QR code and contact details. I used a dark colour scheme to match the aesthetic commonly used in martial arts, with the font and layout of the title referencing imagery from UFC. Since I made this a while ago and have improved, I now see what I could have designed better, for example, the boxes at the bottom look out of place and awkward. A better option may have been overlaying them over the image, or using a cut-out of the photo with text naturally around it rather than in boxes.
