Do I need a premium Wix plan for my website?

Accepted Answer

Not necessarily! I can create a website using Wix’s free plan if you’re looking for something basic. However, if you need eCommerce functionality, custom domains, or ad-free browsing, a premium Wix plan will be required. The features that require a paid plan are:
E-commerce (Buying and paying through the website)
Bookings
Resources or Downloadable Content Page in some situations depending on storage
Courses or Online Learning Page
Wix offers different plans that you can buy a subscription for, either monthly, yearly or multi-yearly.

How does your pricing work?

Accepted Answer

For websites, you pay the price on the website to receive the pages and features listed. However, if you need something specific added, I will happily discuss that with you, and depending on what you want there may be additional costs.

For my other services, you’ll pay a base price, which covers the first hour. This price does not change, even if it doesn't take the whole 60 minutes to finish the project. If the work takes longer than 60 minutes, there will be an additional hourly rate for each extra hour needed. You’ll only pay for the actual time spent on the project, and I’ll provide a detailed breakdown of hours in the final invoice.

Can I make updates to my website after it’s launched?

Absolutely! Wix makes it easy for you to make updates on your own if you'd like. If you’d rather have me handle updates and changes, I offer ongoing support services that you can request as needed, billed at an hourly rate.

Will I own the website once it’s done?

Accepted Answer

Yes! Once the project is completed and paid for, the website is entirely yours. You’ll have full ownership and access, so you can make any changes, updates, or even transfer it to another platform in the future if you choose.

How long does it take to build a website?

Accepted Answer

The timeline depends on the size and complexity of your project. A basic informational website can take as little as one to two days, while larger eCommerce or custom sites may take several weeks. After discussing your needs, I’ll provide you with a realistic timeline before we start.
Some things you can do to speed up the process are:
Provide the text you want on the website
Provide images
Clear communication
If necessary provide products, their prices, their descriptions etc...

Do you provide content for the website, like text and images?

Accepted Answer

Yes, I can help create written content and source images if needed. However this might mean your website doesn't seem very personal to your business, so it is recommended to have images that relate to your brand, and authentic text written by you. So if you already have your own content,  it would be best to use that.
There are some sections I will not be able to write, for example, an 'about me' section. However, if you would like you can provide me with the main points and structure, and I can edit and add to it to make it sound professional and well-written.

How will I be billed for services?

You will be charged the base price on the website, then once the work is completed, you’ll receive an invoice based on the hours spent on your project. This invoice will be sent directly to your email. Payment is due upon receipt, and I accept all major payment methods for your convenience.

Can I get a refund if I’m not satisfied?

I’m committed to working closely with you to ensure you’re happy with the final product. If issues arise, I’ll work with you to make the necessary adjustments. Due to the time investment in custom design work, I cannot offer full refunds, but I aim to meet your expectations through collaboration and revisions.
